FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
- Does Rock n Roll Rentals sell equipment? Yes, we do. We have new and used pricing on all our gear.
- Do you have rent to own contracts? No, while we do not provide rent to own contracts, we do offer depreciated sale prices on monthly rentals.
- Where are you located? We are at 1420 W. Oltorf St. near S. Lamar Blvd. We are across Oltorf from the Office Depot in the blue metal building.
- Do you Reserve Equipment? Yes, we have a reservation rate that starts on the Tuesday of every week. This works because we have so much equipment available on Tuesdays. You can take it with you and have it until Monday or you may leave it safely in our store to pick up later.
- What do I need to rent there? You need: a valid Driver's license, verifiable phone number and local address, references, and a credit card or deposit.
- What are your hours? We are open Monday thru Friday 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Saturday 11:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Monday most of our stock is returned from weekend rentals, and Tuesday thru Thursday we have our best selection available for rent and sale.
- What if I don't live in the Austin area, can I rent from you while I'm in Austin? Yes, you may. We would require a credit card to hold the value of the equipment rented. We can only do these rentals for periods of 4 days or less.
- When is the equipment I rented due back? The due date is on the contract and receipt you received. You can return equipment anytime 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. on the due date. We ask for Saturday returns to be back by 2:00 p.m.
- I received a statement via mail / email. It says I owe money, but I thought I paid already. What does it mean? It is a statement saying you owe if you keep it after the due date. You can pay by credit card over the phone, send us a check, or bring cash into the store.
- I have a monthly rental I plan on keeping a while. Do you have an auto pay option? Yes we do. Just ask one of our friendly Rock n Roll Representatives, and they can set you up. With Auto pay, there are no late fees.
