SXSW FAQ
- Locals - BE PREPARED! - Starting MARCH 1st - Come in ahead of time to fill out the rental application and get verified to cut back on wait time during SXSW. Feel free to call us to make sure your account is still active. If it has been 6-8 months since you have rented, or have not filled one out since last year - we WILL ASK YOU to complete a new form. At that point, you will be issued a number for priority rental.

I am from out of town, can I reserve equipment for SXSW ?
We begin our reservation on Tuesday of the week you need the equipment. This is no different for SXSW. You must be present at our store with your drivers license and credit card to authorize the replacement value of the gear rented. While we can not guarantee the specific gear, everyone is able to get equipment that will work for them.
HINT: To expedite the process, please inform your credit card company about your location and intent to authorize a large amount to be held on your card.
